A+ A A-

Rogueweapon from Trojan Trolls appears to have had a brain implosion of sorts and lost his supercarrier to a bunch of Goons in a capital fleet.

One of the guys from another corporation within the Scrap Iron Flotilla alliance was overheard saying, "Ive never heard of anyone doing such downs syndrome acts with their supercarrier, litterally the biggest derp I've come across".

When asked what this unfortunate pilot did wrong, the following was offered as some of the obvious mistakes;

1. Not in comms weith the rest of the fleet

2. Not "in the loop" of hat was going on with that moon

3. Lighting a cyno and jumping while there was enoguth subs to take out the Rorqual

4. Doing all this is US (Goon) prime time on a weekend!

Interestingly, this all happened in MQFX-Q which is next door to the Scrap Iron Flotilla home system of N5Y-4N.

The headshed of the Scrap Iron Flotilla are likely to be not impressed with this latest mistake as they try to establish themselves as a small but capable Null Sec PVP Alliance within the northern parts of the EVE Universe.

Austrollia [M8WTF] is a new EVE Online corporation for the purpose of pilot training and development. It will serve as a gateway for new pilots to our main corp, Trojan Trolls [TROLL].

As we’ve been hardened by our EVE experiences over the years, we’ve become quite ~elitist~ and selective in our recruitment. This has kept us strong and united, but on the flip side it’s hindered our ability to grow and take on new and eager pilots. In old times we’d have turned inexperienced pilots away, sending them out into the unknown to ~figure shit out~. For most of our existence we’ve also focused on a multinational approach, though these days we’ve become a definite au-centric corporation – something we’ll be embracing into the future.

Austrollia seemed like a fitting name with our now AU/NZ timezone focus in both corp and alliance. The ticker [M8WTF] meaning “mate, what the fuck!?” was our second choice – originally intended reversed as WTFM8 (though unfortunately unavailable).

Our recent expansion into PlanetSide 2 (and soon Dust 514) has brought many aussie’s into our community, who play EVE or have in the past, but found the aussie timezone options or support rather limited. This leads many aussie (and kiwi) players to go inactive from game for long periods of time, or fold into multinational corps. It is our hope that Austrollia will offer our PS2 and Dust bro’s, as well as others, the opportunity to get involved in EVE’s au-centric PvP – with a bit of noob hand holding along the way if required.

As Austrollians, our pilots will be have access to null/low-sec PvP in EVE Online from the get go. We’ll be running regular ops, from basic training to joint ops with TROLL (and alliance SCRAP). Our creation of our brother corp also coincides with the release of Retribution tonight, and we’re quite excited to get the Austrollians into these new Destoyers!

To apply, request membership to the Austrollia group and follow the forum instructions upon approval.
